D. Williams is the president and founder of the Crimes Against Children Foundation. No stranger to police work, Williams has been in security and law enforcement for 27 plus years and has worked with several high profile departments.

Williams is the owner of several vocational training schools and security guard companies. His school has been awarded Best Job Placement School of the Year by SBWIB for the last three years.

Williams attended San Diego police academy and  CSI police academy, and he also attended SWAT school in Pocatello, Idaho. Williams had the chance to train with the Compton police department and the San Diego Gang Unit. On his first day with Compton, they had three pursuits, eight shootings, three homicides, and an almost shooting of an undercover officer running with a gun. His second day he was shot at with an M-1 Garand.

Williams was asked to provide security to the 2000 DNC and was the personal security to actor, Al Pacino for several years.  

He is a certified police academy instructor, OIS, firearm/baton/mace/first aid Instructor, Terrorism Liaison Officer and an active shooter police instructor. Williams has worked with the Twin Falls Sheriff Department, is a retired reserve officer from Orofino, Idaho, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Department as a reserve lieutenant in ICAC, the Saint Anthony Police Department as a reserve police officer, and has received a retirement from a department in Washington as a reserve deputy chief. Williams is also currently a sworn sheriff deputy in Virginia, where he is POST certified. He is additionally POST certified in California and Idaho. 

As the father of a son, he lives his life by the mantra Family First. He considers his fellow law enforcement community to be extended family.  Williams’ goal is to bring community programs to the department as well as the surrounding areas. He will focus on diversity with departments all around the world.

Williams will also be the executive director of the Erik Estrada Peace Officer of the Year Award, and the Dean Cain Super Cop Award.
