Perseverance and persistence wins the day. You don’t have to be the smartest, fastest, or strongest, if you never give up, you will succeed.
Dean Cain is probably best known for playing the role of Clark Kent/Superman in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Cain was also the host of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, appeared in the sports drama series Hit the Floor, hosted the Today Show, Fox and Friends, and is currently hosting the 7th season of Masters of Illusion.
Immediately after graduating from Princeton University, Cain signed on as a free agent with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, but a knee injury during training camp ended his football career prematurely. Cain then turned to screenwriting and then acting, shooting dozens of commercials including a volleyball-themed spot for Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes and appearing on popular television shows like Grapevine, A Different World and Beverly Hills, 90210.
A strong believer in Human Rights, Dean recently received the prestigious ORDER OF ARMENIA for his anti-Genocide documentary film, ARCHITECTS OF DENIAL. Dean also won an Emmy for his documentary, HATE AMONG US, which shines a light on the rise of anti-Semitism throughout the United States and Europe. He has logged thousands of hours appearing on TV and has done over 200 films.
A single father and a staunch supporter of our military and first responders, Dean is honored to serve as a sheriff’s deputy in Frederick County, Virginia.
In Dean’s own words, “Real heroes don’t wear capes.” Dean was also a police officer with SAPD in Idaho.
